Demolition of 4 buildings up to 12 stories in height and excavation for new parking garage. We demolished the old Washington Post headquarters group of buildings in downtown Washington, DC. We used three high reach machines for this demolition – Hitachi 850, Volvo 480 and Komatsu PC400. We used a group of excavators, including two Komatsu PC650’s to demolish existing below grade levels and excavate for new parking garage. This job was contracted with Clark Construction.
