Located at Scott Circle, Washington, DC., this project was demolition of an 8-story steel building and excavation for a new 3 level below grade parking garage. We demolished the old Australian Embassy to make way for the new embassy. We used a Hitachi 850 high reach demolition machine to demolish the building. We used the Komatsu 650, and other large excavators, to demolish existing basement levels and excavate for the new below grade parking garage. This job was contracted with Clark Construction.
